Reversible semi-transverse ventilation

Reversible semi-transverse ventilation

This system has required the design of complex security systems. It includes an integral communications system housed in the control building via sensors.

  • Ventilation is provided by a ventilation duct that allows fresh air to pass through or smoke to be extracted, thus it has a slab in the upper part of the section (false ceiling).
  • The tunnel is divided into two sections physically separated by a wall in the middle of the false ceiling. There are two ventilators in each section.
  • There are 2 m2 vents in the false ceiling every 50 m with three positions: open, closed and intermediate, through which air can be blown or smoke can be extracted.
